The Kolink Core Pro 12V-2x6 90 degree 12VHPWR adapter greatly simplifies cable routing of 12HPWR cables with 12+4 pin connectors, especially in compact cases. It is designed for a current output of up to 600 watts, prevents cable bending and avoids overheating with its integrated heat sink made of around 340 grams (12 oz.) of copper.
New version of the 12+4-pin
The Kolink Core Pro 12V-2x6 90 degree 12VHPWR complies to the new PCIe CEM 5.1 standard of the ATX 3.1 specification. The new version of the connector with the name 12V-2x6 is compatible with the previous version 12VHPWR. With 12V-2x6, the sense pins have been shortened so that graphics cards can only communicate with the power supply unit and achieve their maximum performance when they are fully and securely plugged in. Please make sure the adapter and cable are securely connected to avoid possible damage to the hardware.Graphics cards of the GeForce RTX 4000 series from NVIDIA rely on a new 16-pin connector (12+4-pin) with PCIe 5.0 standard for power supply. Since the cable connections to the PSU should be used without excessive bending if possible, Kolink has developed this adapter. It is simply plugged into the graphics card and leads the 12VHPWR cable plugged into the other end around the graphics card.
